“I’m very drawn to sad things. I think it’s great being moved. I think the sensation of being moved by a piece of art is something that is really good for a person’s soul.”

What are you doing to me?

For Sév (schlotterkatz.tumblr.com).

Happy birthday.

There’s something, you know, this feral quality about his acting that I find completely rare to find, actually impossible to find. There was nobody who was even close to his qualities. - Tom Tykwer on Ben Whishaw

Bright Star (2009)

gondolingirl asked:
Hello :) Here's a question for your q&a. Which fictional or real life person do you think Ben would be perfect to play? Aka what would be your dream role for him?

fuckyesbenwhishaw replied:

Oh! That’s so hard… Hmmm there’s this 18th century guys called Dudley Ryder who’s diary I’ve studied recently at uni. It’s so interesting! It’s about his uncertainty moving from adolescent to adulthood and his amazing self reflection. I think Ben would bring something really human to that role.

princebenji asked:
This one always interests me: how did you get into the BW fandom?

fuckyesbenwhishaw replied:

you asked me this ages ago, I’m so sorry! I first saw Ben in Perfume a few years ago and loved it! Ben was absolutely fantasticI didn’t join the fandom straight away (Because I honestly thought I was the only fan) But when I joined tumblr I found the fandom and made this blog! It makes me so happy to see how much the fandom has grown!

…My love has made me selfish.  I cannot exist without you - I am forgetful of every thing but seeing you again - my Life seems to stop there - I see no further.  You have absorb’d me. I have a sensation at the present moment as though I was dissolving…
